7digital What we said: Let’s slide right on past the artwork that aims for Sgt. Pepper's, but ends up looking like a cross between Viva La Vida-era Chris Martin and a dodgy panto poster, shall we, and focus on the music? Well, while on Wonderland the Beatles influence doesn’t end there – see ‘New Day’, which could be the sequel to ‘Shine’ – and nor do the Coldplay comparisons (‘Giants’, ‘Every Revolution’), there’s no denying that Take That have found their groove. Recorded with the Pet Shop Boys’ pal Stuart Price, Beck-affiliate Tony Hoffer, and Clean Bandit-producer Mark Ralph, this upbeat eighth LP was purpose designed with an arena tour in mind, and seems set to please the converted.
